Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment is a skin regenerating medical technique which uses the patient’s own blood to produce plasma enriched with platelets, growth factors and stem cells. Once re-injected beneath the patient-donor’s skin, it accelerates normal healing processes by stimulating collagen formation, revascularization and repair. The nurse withdraws a small quantity of the patient’s blood at the hotel. The sample is sent for centrifugation and extraction of plasma concentrated in platelets. Within three hours after that, the patient comes to the clinic. Concentrated plasma is then injected by means of mesotherapy in the areas requiring treatment. Because it is autologous, PRP induces particularly few side effects. Slight redness, swelling and bruising may occur immediately after the treatment, but will fade away over the following days.
