Botox is the trade name of the toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. This medical method relaxes and softens the wrinkles. The patient should not rub the area in which the treatment is applied 12 hours after injection, or lie down for 3-4 hours after the treatment. The process takes only a few minutes and requires some form of anesthesia. The administration of Botox is done with a fine needle in to specific muscles.Botox should not be used by women who are pregnant, nursing, or people who suffer from neurological diseases.
